Why roll here
- SRD magic item cards the tables link to
- 514
- monster family generators
- 29
- 2024 monsters, each with a loot section and its generator
- 331
- gemstones and art objects described
- 100
- Rules as written. Every die follows the treasure tables in chapter 7 of the 2014 Dungeon Master's Guide: Individual Treasure, Treasure Hoards in four CR bands and Magic Item Tables A to I. Each roll shows the row it landed on, so you can check it against the book.
- Your dice, not ours. Roll at the table and type every d100 and coin die in; nothing is decided for you unless you leave it empty.
- Linked to the rules. A magic item opens its SRD card, a gem or art object its description, a creature its stat block.
- Made for play. Lock the finds you like and reroll the rest, print item cards for your players, and share a link that replays the exact roll.
- Free, no account. Every roll is made fresh in your browser.
How this generator works
Giants span three tables. Ogres (CR 2) and ettins (CR 4) roll Individual Treasure on the CR 0–4 table; trolls, hill, stone, frost, fire and cloud giants (CR 5–9) on CR 5–10; a storm giant (CR 13) on CR 11–16. Each giant in the group rolls on its own table, so a hill giant with its ogres carries far more than they do.
Giants gather their wealth where they live, from a hill giant's heap of plunder to a cloud giant's castle. Tick Lair hoard and it rolls on the table of the strongest giant present.

Questions
Why does a hill giant carry more than an ogre?
A hill giant is CR 5, so it rolls on the CR 5–10 Individual Treasure table; an ogre is CR 2 and rolls on CR 0–4. The jump between the tables is large.
Which table does a storm giant's hoard use?
The CR 11–16 hoard table, from its CR 13. Every other giant here, from the troll to the cloud giant, uses CR 5–10.
What do giants keep in their bags?
The tables give coins, gems, art objects and magic items; what else a giant hoards is yours to describe. Oversized everyday objects, or a captive's belongings, make good flavour.
